N-[Amino(imino)methyl]benzenesulfonamide is an alkyl ether compound that is used as a reagent for hydrolyzing amines. This product is also used in the synthesis of a number of drugs, including anti-diabetic drugs and other active substances. N-[Amino(imino)methyl]benzenesulfonamide can be used in combination with alkaline agents to form acid halides, which are useful for synthesizing sulfones. This product also reacts with hydrogen sulfide to form the element sulfur.
